Description

it is a dark corsican honey, with a malty and persistent taste. Long in the mouth, they develop aromas of liquorice, caramel, ripe fruits...

It is a sweet extract produced by certain insects from the sap of the plants and collected by the bees.

Today mainly harvested at the end of August, unlike nectar honeys, honeydew comes from sweet substances recovered by bees from a wide variety of plants such as cistus, pines and firs, and more traditionally in Corsica in oak forests.

Dark amber to very dark its malty taste is expressed by aromas of liquorice, caramel and ripe fruit that linger in the mouth. It is a honey which makes the unanimity.
